Broke-MY-back Mountain

Brokeback Mountain is definitely popular, my friend went to get tics 1 hour before the show yesterday and managed to get 2nd row seats. So, watching the movie was a break-neck experience.

Coming back to the show, I think it is a simple movie that moves with comfortable pace and yet was able to cover the tense undercurrent of a forbidden relationship. Basically, it tells a love story about two men.

I didn't cringe at the wrong moments which I thought I would. I left the theatre feeling a mysterious tug at the heartstrings. I learnt: don't persecute people just because they are different from you.

Social conventions prevent us from truly expressing ourselves. Our feelings can be suppressed but we cannot deny that they exist.
