Surprise surprise

There are, in fact, people who are sincerely looking for friends at the ripe "old" age of 26. I'm surprised.

I have been sceptical about making new friends, because at our age, there is always an agenda behind "friending" or "networking" or " widening social circle". One agenda is (obviously) the anxious serach for the other half, the other is because you work in the insurance industry (where making lotsa friends make economic sense.)

Hit me with all your might if you don't agree. I'm starting to waver anyway.
