Julia Child and Meryl Streep and Amy Adams, Mrs Tuohy and Sandra Bullock

If it wasn't for the superb Meryl Streep as Julia Child and the lovely charm of the real Julia Child and the food(!!) I would have fallen asleep when Amy Adams as Julie Powell came on.

Meryl Streep eats young actresses for breakfast. (I read it somewhere.)

Amy Adams was good In Sunshine Cleaning though, as a vulnerable young single mother who is struggling to feed herself, raise her kid, and getting involved with her high school sweetheart who is already married.

Watch The Blind Side too! Though I didn't think Sandra Bullock deserved to win together with with Meryl Streep, her understated performance was a sharp contrast from her previous roles. I like spunky Mrs. Leigh Ann Tuohy.
